AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES ON THE EFFECTS OF INSUKBOSIMTANG

Abstract
|
|
|
These studies were conducted about the effects of Insukbosimtang on analgesic action, sedative action, prolongation of anesthetic time by Thiopental-Na, action on blood vesels and action on blood pressure and respiration with the investigation of its clinical effects based on oriental medicinal references of Insukbosimtang.
The results of the studies were summerized as follows.
1) Analgesic effects by acetic acid experimental method were significantly recognized.
2) Sedative effects were noted by the unbalanced effects of spontaneous momentum by Wheel cage method, muscle relaxing action by Rotor rod method.
3) A prolongation of anesthetic time by Thiopental-Na on the mice was noted.
4) Spontaneous mobilities in the isolated ileum of mice were significantly suppressed, and contraction by Acetylcholine and Barium chloride were inhibited.
5) Dilatation of blood vessel and decrease of blood pressure were noted.
According to the above results, efficacy based on the oriental medicinal references was approximate to the actually experimental results.
